Paul Lewis (FAICD)
Chairman

Following an early career in IT with Mobil Oil, and subsequently with ICL, Paul has had extensive experience in management consulting, particularly in financial services, telecommunications and transport industry sectors.
He spent 23 years with PA Consulting Group, 12 years as Managing Partner for Asia, based in Hong Kong and built new businesses from Japan to India.
Paul joined Simon in 2007 to set up Growth Mantra. He also serves as Chair or NED with NAB Private Wealth, Magellan Financial Group, PSP International, IPscape, Cure Cancer Australia and the Australian British Chamber of Commerce.

CEO

Simon joined Saatchi & Saatchi as a graduate in 1983 and spent 5 years in London on a wide range of clients. He moved to Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney as a senior executive in 1987, followed by MD/CEO roles in Taiwan and Ireland.
He returned to Australia to found M&C Saatchi in May 1995. Over the next 12 years, M&C Saatchi grew into a top three Australian agency with 275 staff, income over $50 million and a blue chip client list.
Simon left to set up Growth Mantra in 2007, with Paul Lewis. 

Jess Gill
Partner

Jess has extensive experience in customer experience, marketing, research, innovation and strategic planning across a range of industries. She has worked for a number of Australia’s Blue Chip companies and agencies in the past, in marketing and strategy roles including Telstra, Macquarie Bank and Voyages Hotels & Resorts and consulted to many more.This experience has created a unique ability to blend creative thinking with disciplined analysis derived from a deep understanding of consumer insight. Most recently, Jess was Woolworths’ Director of Customer Experience in which she was responsible for embedding customer insights to the business and driving collaboration across all business teams to redefine the approach to creating a branded customer experience across all customer touchpoints – including store design, layout, space allocation, brand and private label.

Jo Adams
HEAD OF GROWTH INSIGHTS

Ex TNS, Yellow Door, Instinct and Reason, Frank Small & Assoc. Jo is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience providing market, customer and consumer insights to help clients grow their businesses and brands. Jo is a conceptual, ‘big picture’ thinker equally at home in the detail, with a demonstrated ability to distil and interpret data from a variety of sources and effectively communicate solutions. Jo brings a strong commercial focus to research outcomes gained through senior positions held in large multi-national companies, as well as managing her own agencies. Immediately before joining Growth Insights, Jo was National Qualitative Director for TNS.

Jo has a B Commerce from UNSW and is a member of AMSRS.

Amanda Luckett
Management Consultant

Prior to joining Growth Mantra, Amanda worked in the UK for Inflexion Private Equity for 10years, focussing on £10 - £100 million UK growth buyouts.  Amanda was responsible for analyzing opportunities, completing transactions, and monitoring investments. Exposure stretched across a broad range of consumer focused, mid-market businesses: including, leisure, healthcare and retail.

Prior to Inflexion Amanda worked as a Chartered Accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, for 9 years in London and Sydney offices,  specializing in advising companies in the media, entertainment and technology sectors.

Kathryn Porter
Marketing Consultant

Kathryn has over 20 years of marketing and strategic planning experience, and has developed and implemented successful marketing plans across top tier Australian companies, government and not-for-profit sectors.
Prior to joining Growth Mantra Kathryn had extensive experience in the Telecommunications and Energy sectors, most recently working in  senior marketing  strategy roles at AGL.  She holds a Bachelor of Business from the Queensland University of Technology, and has completed postgraduate studies at  Melbourne Business School and the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing, UK.

Colin Fletcher
Management Consultant

After 20 years in executive roles within the insurance and funds management industry, Colin moved into consulting – for many years with IBM Business Consulting.

His focus has been on strategy definition and performance improvement identification within the financial services sector.

He is a business case specialist, aided by his actuarial background, has constructed board level business cases across a wide range of industries. 

He has worked across a broad range of clients with Growth Mantra including Adshel Qantas Holidays, Bupa/MBF, ING, Sara Lee, Coca-Cola and GSK.

Maysoon El-Ahmad
Marketing Consultant

Maysoon joined Growth Mantra in 2016 after a 22 year career with the Woolworths Group where she most recently was Head of Customer Insights & Strategy. Maysoon has formidable experience in developing strategic insights supporting strategic brand development, customer segmentation, new product and service evaluation, strategic category management, service strategy, user experience and 'Voice of the Customer' programs.

She is a creative problem solver characterised by a commitment to finding strategic solutions grounded with a deep understanding of consumer behaviour.

Maysoon holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master’s degree in Commerce (Marketing, Strategy and Innovation) from the University of Sydney.
